About MLDeep and this role

MLDeep is an AI and data consultancy in build mode. We help funded startups turn AI from a slide deck into systems that run in production. The work is real, the market is moving fast, and the opportunity in front of us is bigger than our current ability to reach it. That gap is what you close.

This is our first commercial hire, and it is a founding one. You own how MLDeep finds, earns, and books its next customer. Not a slice of it. The whole motion. Today that pipeline runs on the founder's time and a handful of conversations. Your job is to turn it into a repeatable engine that fills the calendar with the right people every week, without anyone chasing you to run it.

What you will own

You own the number that matters most this early: qualified meetings booked. Everything below ladders up to it.

  • The full outbound motion, end to end. You build the lists, write the cold email, make the cold calls, run the LinkedIn outreach, and own the follow-up. You decide who we go after and why.
  • The inbound motion, so the right customers find their way to us and self-select before they ever get on a call.
  • Messaging and positioning in market. You test angles, subject lines, and offers until the reply rate tells you what works, then you systematise it.
  • Qualification. You protect the calendar fiercely. A booked call only counts if it is a real fit, and you are the filter that makes that true.
  • The pipeline itself: the tooling, the data, and an honest weekly read on what is working and what is not.

Your first 90 days

  • By week two, you understand our offer, our market, and our best-fit customer well enough to speak about them the way an owner would.
  • By day 30, you have a working outbound motion live and the first meetings booked from it.
  • By day 60, you have tested enough messaging to know which angles convert, with a repeatable sequence to lean on.
  • By day 90, the calendar is filling predictably and you can forecast pipeline with a straight face.

What success looks like

A calendar that stays full of qualified conversations, a motion that does not depend on anyone reminding you to run it, and a clear, honest read on what it costs us to win a meeting. You will know you are winning when the founder stops worrying about where the next customer comes from, because you have it handled.

Who you are

  • You have booked meetings with cold prospects, and some part of you enjoyed the chase.
  • You write outbound that earns replies, not just sent volume, and you can show us examples.
  • You think in systems and experiments, not one-off blasts. You instrument what you do.
  • You carry a deep sense of ownership. Nobody needs to assign you the next move.
  • You are hungry to learn the AI and data space well enough to sell it with real credibility, and you treat that learning as part of the job.
  • You want to be the best in the room, and you want to be somewhere that lets you prove it.

A note on joining this early

We are small and still building. There is ambiguity, there is no playbook waiting for you, and some of what you try will not work. That is the trade. In return you get real ownership, the chance to set the standard instead of inheriting one, and a level of impact you cannot get as hire fifty somewhere larger. We give you the best AI tools and we expect you to use them hard. We also expect you to think. Work that is clearly offloaded to a model and shipped unchecked has no place here.
