About MLDeep and this role
MLDeep is an AI and data consultancy in build mode. We help funded startups turn AI from a slide deck into systems that run in production. We do work worth talking about, and almost nobody knows it yet. That gap is what you close.
This is our first marketing hire, and it is a founding one. You own how MLDeep gets found and how it sounds. Every post on LinkedIn, every page on the site, the blog, where we rank in search, and how AI engines describe and cite us. Today that surface area runs on the founder's spare hours. Your job is to turn it into a discoverability engine that compounds, so the right customers arrive already convinced.
If you want a content calendar handed to you and a brand guide to colour inside, this is not it. If you have ever watched a company with a great story stay invisible and itched to fix it, keep reading.
What you will own
You own how many of the right people discover MLDeep, and what they believe by the time they reach us.
- The content engine across LinkedIn, the website, and the blog. You decide what we say, where, and how often.
- SEO end to end: the research, the structure, the pages, and the rankings that bring in customers who are already searching for what we do.
- GEO, generative engine optimisation. You make sure that when someone asks an AI assistant about AI and data consultants, our name and our work show up, accurately.
- Voice and positioning in market. You turn dense technical work into stories a busy operator actually wants to read.
- The measurement behind all of it: what gets traffic, what gets read, and what turns into pipeline.
Your first 90 days
- By week two, you understand our work, our market, and our best-fit customer well enough to write in our voice without hand-holding.
- By day 30, you have a publishing rhythm live and the first wave of content shipped.
- By day 60, you have an SEO and GEO plan in motion, with the first pages and improvements already indexed.
- By day 90, the numbers show momentum: traffic climbing, the right readers arriving, and a content engine that runs without anyone nudging it.
What success looks like
A steady stream of the right customers finding MLDeep on their own, a body of content that keeps working long after it ships, and search and AI engines that surface us for the questions our customers actually ask. You will know you are winning when customers show up to the first call already understanding what we do and why it matters.
Who you are
- You have grown an audience or a search footprint before, and you can show us the numbers.
- You write clearly and fast, and you can hold someone else's voice when the work calls for it.
- You understand modern SEO and you have a real point of view on where AI search is heading.
- You carry a deep sense of ownership. You do not wait to be told what to publish next.
- You are hungry to understand the AI and data space well enough to write about it with authority, and you treat that learning as part of the job.
- You want to be the best in the room, and you want to be somewhere that lets you prove it.
What you get
- A founding seat with meaningful equity. We talk real numbers on the call.
- Total ownership of your function and a direct line to the founder, no management layer between you and the decisions.
- The best AI tools to do your work, subscriptions covered.
- Remote-first work, judged on what you ship rather than hours logged.
- A front-row seat to how an AI company gets built, and room to grow as we scale.
A note on joining this early
We are small and still building. There is ambiguity, there is no playbook waiting for you, and some of what you try will not work. That is the trade. In return you get real ownership, the chance to set the standard instead of inheriting one, and a level of impact you cannot get as hire fifty somewhere larger. We give you the best AI tools and we expect you to use them hard. We also expect you to think. Work that is clearly offloaded to a model and shipped unchecked has no place here. We want people who are better at their craft than we are, who learn fast, and who want to make a dent. If that is you, we should talk.
